Overloading.

I believe with the update it has become economical to overload your luxury resources.

It takes 4 workers on overload to produce one extra resource an hour. Each unemployed(in lumber, luxury, or science) civilian produces 3g per hour, which means producing that one extra luxury resource costs you 12g an hour.

I'm paying 20g+ for what I must purchase, for me this means overloading is definitely worth it, but you can be the judge for yourself. If you're paying more than 12g for a resource, remember you can probably produce a small extra amount yourself for only 12g a piece, an hour.
